This excerpt from the linked Wikipedia article for the name abstractly summarizes it nicely.

It reached the rank of the sixth most popular name for girls in the United States in 1912 and maintained that popularity through 1920, but then its popularity dropped quickly afterward.[2]

The name Mildred was very common about a hundred years ago, but never really at any other point since. If you see the name Mildred without seeing the person in question your first thoughts will be that they are extremely old. That's really about it.

European Starlings were introduced in the US about 100 years ago by a misguided fool in Manhattan. They are invasive, but absolutely everywhere around the US at this point and that's definitely a European Starling fledgling.

This would be better if the red circle didn't cover the article dates.

It really does. The order that I noticed things in this was: Nipple Piercings>Baked Beans>Shirt Text and maybe I've been on Lemmy too much, but that just makes sense to me.

A ruling hasn't been issued yet as far as I can tell. This is just an emotional and editorial piece based on the Trump immunity case arguments. It's too early to be mad yet.

I'm very surprised that this game can pull in a viewership of 20,000 people, even if it is a huge achievement event.

This has honestly always made me pretty sad. Celebrity photos I guess I understand since they have a financial incentive, but I miss when just a normal persons skin had texture and character. Our imperfections are what make us unique and there's nothing wrong with simply being human.

He pushed a recommendation for it to be rescheduled to the DEA like two years ago and they've been stonewalling?

Timeline of events since that recommendation was made

I thought so as well, but apparently ConcernedApe started enlisting help around the 1.3 update. Before then it was all solo work by him.

The referenced dev from the article contributed to the 1.4 and 1.5 updates from the Stardew wiki.
