Does anyone disagree with this? There is no longer much difference between the US president and a king. He literally has the right to simply legally kill people and congress and the judicial branch have little will or power to interrupt any of his shenanigans. I think king is a closer to correct term than president. Fascist dictator would be the closest, but I think he prefers the term king.

It's implied if you drive a Tesla, but some people don't have time for subtlety.
I think they are trying to keep this based a bit more in reality and not bring in other fantasy creatures.
I would just assume the owner did it, which is a pretty safe bet, so that's not vandalism.

Some Lemmy instances have very low file size cutoffs for image uploads. I feel that the natural loss of pixels that happens everywhere over time is acellerated here.
For me a big hesitation for getting an e-reader was not feeling like I owned my own media. I love books and felt like this was a very of it ain't broke, don't fix it problem. After getting one as a gift, I'm a huge fan, I read more than ever and really prefer the e-reader format now. Unfortunately I think society at large is so used to not owning things anymore that there probably won't be too many people turned off by this. Glad to hear it matters to you - would encourage you to give a different brand / platform a try.
"I want to capture you with my camera" is not something people say to me, but if they did I'd now be worried.
Either way, as long as I get to drink my lightly processed urine through a special straw in my jumpsuit, dammit I'm in.
Back when the internet was just cat videos it was all upvotes always.
Platter. Looks fancy but you know it's just a gourmet version of cats and dogs.
Thought it was a tomagochi.
