Crazy. Well, now's a good time, since people are looking forward to the Defoe movie and will be clicking on it thinking that's it! LOL.

I could. How much are you offering per meme?

Just kidding. Yeah, if I have time I could do some.

I cannot wait!!

I can't wait. This is one of my favorite shows of all time. Matt Berry is a genius, as is everyone else on this show.

I think it's funny too. Don't let the bastards get you down. The more we can lean into this "Kamala the Kommunist" angle, the better.

The only constant is change. My 7 year old was the best sleeper until she discovered the concept of “bad dreams” and now she immediately has a bad dream as soon as I leave the room, so I have to go back in and hold her hand until she’s asleep… or show her cute animal videos, which I think is really what she wants.

Oh that's interesting... So, it's not the Willem Defoe version that's coming out soon, then?

[–] [email protected] 12 points 9 hours ago

Then yeah, Russia or China would help them get around that.

Isn't that already the case? Or are you talking in terms of the government access to the worldwide internet?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 hours ago

...oh, I get it! That's clever!

Where’s the ring??

This is the truest one of these I have ever seen.

Just checking. Thanks!

Any suggestions?

She bought the tickets without knowing about the strike. We accepted the gift without knowing about the strike.

She's a Republican and still wants to go and cross the picket line. She doesn't care.

My wife understands my hesitancy, but says that it's too late, and so we have to go regardless.

The kids are really looking forward to it.

I just feel so horrible. But I have to go with them.

What can I do to make amends?

"Christopher Robin, Christopher Robin!" cried Piglet. "Tell Kanga who I am! She keeps saying I'm Roo. I'm not Roo... am I?"

We'll be driving up the coast from Long Beach to SF this August, with our two kids under 10. Any great things that we shouldn't miss out on while we're up there?

Any advice?

I took my NES down from the attic. It was in a box for probably a good 20 years. Easy. Plugged it in and it lit up, but games wouldn't play - gray screen.

Anyway, I took it apart, cleaned everything I could (according to youtube guides), cleaned my TMNT 2 cartridge and popped it in... after a few in/outs... it worked!!

So I played some of my old cartridges. Had to clean them all up and insert/take out/insert/take out etc. quite a few times with most of them. But they all worked! Game Genie even worked!

Anyway, I decided to get an EverDrive because ROMs are a thing now, and you can just pop in a card into the cartridge and have all the games ever created for NES playing on your original hardware.

I also got some wireless controllers. So I'm all set. This is such a fun world we live in.
