I've been reading posts like this and this is the first time I've seen scythe. Aside from collecting people's souls, are there any practical uses for them in an urban setting?

I've always been curious about how big a mess the salt gun makes every time you use it.

Came here because of the goodbye note from rif. Reddit is rif for me. The original app is just too bulky and annoying.

It's still not the same experience so I've been trying out apps for lemmy. Connect is the closest one I think.

Same. I do get more replies here per comment as well..

Ted Lasso with League of Legends. I still can't imagine the crossover result with the two.

Those living in the US already know this story too well...

I had a hard time signing in the other day as I got confused in the instances but otherwise I'm enjoying the experience browsing here using the summit app.

I didn't actually mind abnb until they started raising prices to match hotels. I mean that's their whole point isn't it? Cheap lodging.

I don't mind cleaning after myself and following some reasonable rules as long as I can stay there for cheap (compared to a hotel anyways).

Wasn't there a mega thread around here that was similar to Reddit's only that it links to external website? Any idea where it is? There are several /c/piracy around here so it's kinda confusing.

Sorry. New to Lemmy.

I'm in the process... Since they destroyed RiF, I've been going to the old Reddit website but it's just not the same anymore. I've been resisting downloading the Reddit app due to what they've done to the community but it's not easy.

Lemmy is nice and all but I find it confusing as it shows several communities (some with 0 MAU and some with plenty) whenever I search for it. I'm excited for the future of this one and the Mastodon one but they're just not as polished as their more established counterparts.
