I don’t have that sort of budget at all (I’m on disability income, which doesn’t pay enough for my survival so I’m basically using up part of my brothers income too); chronic illness sucks, put I’m happily looking at the pictures online :)

Damn I wish I had the kind of disposable income I could buy things like this. They are so interesting and pretty.

So you’re saying you’d rather leave all homeless people to starve than risk a few of them using some money on drugs?

It stands on land taken without consent or compensation from the Indigenous Ayta people, and a dearth of affordable housing risks creating a haven for elites rather than a place where all can enjoy the benefits of the country’s growing economy.

In 2024, two older and more distant galaxies, JADES-GS-z14-0 and JADES-GS-z14-1, were found.

FWIW: I’ve tried bluesky and not found more than a handful of genuine solarpunk accounts, so that’s off the list of possibilities.

Summary

The DOJ has found that Oklahoma City and its police department discriminate against people with behavioral health disabilities by unnecessarily institutionalizing individuals and escalating crises with armed police instead of behavioral health professionals.

The 45-page report highlights avoidable use of force and unmet mental health needs, with the DOJ offering to work with city officials to address violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

State leaders, including the governor and attorney general, acknowledged mental health system issues but criticized the DOJ's findings as federal overreach.
