This is why you don't just "trust the science." Greed, egos, corruption, perverse incentives. There's a lot going on in the background that people are ignorant about.

My uncle once told me about how he grew up as a "displaced person" because of WW2. He ended up at a variety of boarding schools. They had the policy of letting the boys sort shit out themselves. From his experience, it sounded like it worked.

I have a vague recollection of a Canadian politician getting cornered with a great question on covid response overreach on a video call, and after everyone watching, including a live audience, heard everything crystal clear, they were like "sorry, we seem to be having technical issues, couldn't hear the question, looks like you're breaking up!" And then they hung up LOL.

Nothing to see here, folks, go back to your business!

Ignoring all common sense approaches to staying competitive by using simple, textbook ideas of strategic management does negatively impact growth.

Imagine that!

I virtually never want food or water. My body screams "eat now or you're going into a coma, idiot!"

Yup this is why I block after commenting now. 20 years on social media, taking abuse and insult the whole time because I disagree with someone. I'm just done.
