If EU manufacturers didn't charge 35k for a car that barely fits 3 people, we wouldn't need to turn to these chinese cars.

Same side as the charging port. All cables must come out at the same side.

My policy is: if you are weaker, you have to be extra carefull and give way to the others.

Usually in this order: pedestrian < bicycle < motorcycle < car < truck

This has served me well. No reason to risk your life in competing even if you are in the right. Being in the right serves you nothing when you're dead.

Can someone explain why one cannot read cursive? It is just a tilted (sometimes fancy) font, what's so hard about it?

Edit: After being made aware by a fellow lemmy'er and googling it, it seems I confused cursive with italics, English is not my first language. Though I learned cursive at school when I was 6 without realizing it is called cursive in English. It was part of the basic curriculum at that time, didn't know this wasn't a thing in other countries.

That's some bs here. Been snacking for dinner all my life. Few months ago started a diet and dropped all those things. I never had shivers or flue like withdrawal symptoms like with meds.

I miss the taste but I had no problems at all, just show character and stay on target. I lost 10kg on 3 months just by quitting snacks.

I once was unvoluntary addicted to valium because I took it a long time for back muscles relax. If you want to wean of that, that's addiction with daily vomiting for weeks. That is hell, it makes quitting sugar mean nothing.

Edit: just to clarify where I came from. My breakfast before work was kinder bueno, franchipan cookies and redbull... every day

My wife has EDS inherited from her mother. Doctors recognized it in both of them, but only her mother is eligible for financial support. While my wife doesn't even get a handicap parking card. Government doctors refuse to recognize it in her.

EDS is very misunderstood because they have good and bad days, and it doesn't show externally. So when she has a good day and can walk, she goes outside. Only to be accused of faking it the next day when she can't get up because they saw her walking.

If I wasn't there for her, she'd be on the streets. Yes, this also happens in countries where health care is almost free... but not for her, she is completely abandoned by government docters while she has all the necessary reports from the hospital doctors.
