What will be achieved once this is completed is that the installed app disappears and cannot be downloaded again, thus breaking the cycle of digital piracy
You can't break the cycle of digital piracy. Information wants to be free. Going against digital piracy is going against the grain of technology. But I guess if the copyright trolls got their way, there would be no general purpose computing.
Why would they give you lossless files? There is almost no market for that. Those files would be at least hundreds of gigabytes in size
I don't think OP is asking for DCPs, they just wish that you could purchase an mp4 file of a movie
One of them is a way of life that strives towards excluding as much pain and suffering in the world of computing as possible and the other is a fucking moral philosophy.
Not really. I personally drink 132 gallons of water per day. It's my favorite beverage. I also eat 40 pounds of raw wheat daily, it's really tasty. I work as a logger, it makes good money. I also huff and puff like the Big Bad Wolf so my CO2 output is pretty insane. Anything to save that 1 animal though. Vegan btw

DRM employed by streaming services has never made it less trivial to download new movies and shows. I can still get all the shows and movies I want just minutes after they release on streaming. DRM just hurts paying customers.
Exactly. Support those who create it. Not publishers or ebook lending companies
