If I can add to the discussion here. Problem is the the solution isn't a solution. Heck the headline is a lie because the first sentence is "If the project raises 7.5 billion dollars". The article makes people feel like the problem is solved already but it's not. And to say that we cannot fix the origin of the problem is just not true. To think so is to actually miss the point of the project which is that monumental problems CAN be solved, but cleaning the patch isn't done and it won't be the end of the challenge.
Take it from me. I had the exact issue. I got my deck, and it immediately had that problem. It's a problem with power delivery to the GPU I believe. It can even be checked if you look at the kernel logs you'll see GPU error. Sorry to hear it's still an issue with decks. RMA that poor thing.

Mirror images more resemble being flipped inside out. Sort of.
Imaging holding your hand out flat, parallel to the ground while facing a mirror. The tips of your fingers would be closest to the mirror.
Now imagine if you were wearing a glove on that hand and you took the glove off so it were inside out.
If you were to compare the inside out glove to the reflection of the hand the glove came from, they would look similar.
Mirrors just show us what they see.
