Most agreed that the conflict, while fragile, could offer an opportunity to reduce Iran’s influence in Lebanon and the region.

Iran influence is based on "Israel" actions. No Genocide, No aggression, means no one would need Iran. The same in Iraq and other regions. Which makes me question the statement unless these people are really stupid.

Is this the new excuse? What USA would do if Lebanon ask Russia or Turkey to defend its border.

You have a few user types:

• if you say Israel is committing genocide you will get downvoted by mostly Zaionist. There are few here compare to reddit but still exist.
• if you say US government is part of the genocide, you will get downvoted by mostly Zionist.
• if you said Genocide Joe, or blamed the democrats for what is happening, you will get downvoted by democrats who will accuse you of being a russian shell because you want trump to win.
• if you mention the hypocrisy of the statement made to support Ukraine and how they treat Palestinian you will get downvoted by European and being accuse of being a russian shell.
• if you comment about history and how the US and Nato happy to prolong the war in Ukraine and how Nazis still exist or anything allude to how the US and its allies might be lying about Russia the same way the lied about all their enemies through out their history, you will get downvoted and label a tanki.

Repeating the same lies "human shields" and "terrorist" doesn't make it true.

Have you seen any of the videos they have posted? I saw a few that were actually guided ! they problem I notice in media they never show attacks by hamas or hezbollah. While IDF doesn't actually care what they hit and like to always claim to be right and accurate but we know from Gaza they are mostly lies which makes it hard to believe them anymore..

This justification of the war because a single person is misleading. If people do not support him made it clear he wouldn't do it. It is like blaming hitler for nazi activity and pretending soldiers are following orders.
