I had the chance to go to Wales for a semester during college, but was too nervous. In retrospect, that would've been cool as shit.

We had some exchange students from their end of the program and they were all lovely folks.

It's more fun, and mostly harmless, to believe these kinds of little stories happened. Life's more interesting that way.

It's actually more like three, but for one woman, that counts as a flock.

Definitely travel. It would've been nice to be able to get out of the states for a few weeks before I had all of the responsibilities that come with a full-time job, folks depending on me, a whole-ass flock of birds, etc etc.

My goal is now to (hopefully) travel before I'm 40 (currently 34, 35 in October). I'd like to hit up the UK (I've got a good friend there) and Japan (I'm a huge weeb), if possible.

My advice to the youngins out there: If you've got the means, definitely do a bit of travel between either highschool and college or college and a full-time job.

Oh my god, this one hits hard. The smell of bacon being fried in a skillet STILL gives me memories of when dad would fix some because he was up super early and needed something to do.

I'm too tired now to give a nice explanation, but probably playing with Legos with my dad as a kid. Either that or waking up on a REALLY stormy summer morning and going to grandma's house.

Ayyy, sleep deprivation buddy! I've been up since 5 AM and feel like absolute death. :)

Thankfully breaking a bone. The only time I broke one was back in the summer of 1999 on the way out to the car with my family, I think we were headed into town for something when I slipped on our porch and fell weird. As my parents supported me down to the car, out of instinct I put weight on my broken leg.

I can still remember the loss of absolutely everything else, my mind was just flooded with that agony.

Not at all the video you're referring to (probably), but my first thought was this wonderful gem.

I think Bowser's a little busy being the president of Nintendo of America.

@Chris_ni Yooo, that's super cool! I love the contrast between the purple and white.

God, I can smell the chlorine in this image.

@LoneGansel Oh my god, that is brilliant. Definitely gonna have to give this a shot someday.

(not seen but possibly heard: my quaker parrot son and cockatiel daughter making a ruckus and chewing on my pants leg off-screen)

So I've looked at like three different articles and videos about it, but I still don't get how a fridge/freezer-based icemaker works. I want this mystery out of my life. :(
