I switched to a fiber to the home ISP and only found out they do CG-NAT afterwards. I opted to go VPS with Wireguard and it has been problem free and only cost me $2.50 USD/mo.

Syncthing is great for mirroring files across any number of devices. I use it and love it. Just remember Syncthing itself, is not a backup solution.
I thought the better KDF was Argon2d because it's stronger against GPU attacks.
Call me a pessimist, but I see this only going the way of a hive mind against whatever becomes unpopular at the moment. The good news is I already have another account elsewhere.
I bought 3 of them last year, I think. So far only completed Asylum, it was really good. Although I remember several times disliking the return to areas and having to traverse said area through a bunch of "upgrade" mobs. I'm looking forward to the other two, but it will probably be another couple years until I get to them.
I feel like this is just a lazy one system design for all. Its like subway's question when paying with credit card. I'm not tipping them to make a sandwich, just charge more for the sandwich.
I use Debian testing for my RPI 4, minimal install, no issues. Also booted from usb.
Well that's not reassuring, but I do wonder how prevalent data lose is with bcachefs. It has all the features I want but have been holding off due to not wanting to run a different kernel, or add complexity to my system.
I have always like the idea of camping this way. Has a minimalist feel to it.
Not much at the moment. Pihole, Pydio, Syncthing, Gitea, Mariadb, Filebrowser, and lighttpd to retrieve weather readings from a homemade weather station.
Great list. One of the biggest issues I face is that after long periods of not playing. I find many mods no longer updated or you have to find another person who has updated the mod.
