Yeah...getting older is why this bullshit happens.

I used to have deep, deep sleep and could sleep until 10am if my schedule permitted.

After I hit my 40s I always wake up at 5-6am. Always. Still tired, just can't fall back to sleep. Hate it.

I think those "up early" Dads and Grandpas are full of crap. They want to sleep in too, but their stupid old bodies won't let them, so they act like the're so awesome for being up early. At, least, that's what I do...

I hate to sound like a "Reddit Holdover", but is anyone else confused by the swap of downvote/upvote colors? in c/[email protected]

It's counterintuitive IMO. Cool, calm colors = good. Warm, angry colors = bad.

I realize Reddit used orange, but this ain't Reddit.

YOLO just got too popular and jumped the shark. The original thought is still very valid; life is so very super short and you only get one. Make the best of it. That doesn't mean you should take unnecessary or extreme risks. But you definitely should get over yourself and do karaoke and dance and skinny dip.

This is a good argument. Fresh mushrooms sound great in theory, but they add too much liquid. Canned is better; fresh sauteed mushrooms even better.

I think the air fryer appliance was designed to sell more small appliances.

Don't get me wrong, I adore my air fryer and own a big stupid oversized Ninja air fryer with a grill grate in it that my family uses daily.

But IMO the air fryer is very modern and was designed from the start to be a consumable product and I'm sure my Ninja will die within the next few years.

I've also thought about bying a new oven with air fryer functionality built it, but my spouse pointed out that I'll have to buy a whole new oven when that breaks...
