Just because you can accurately attack someone's integrity in an exposing and indefensible way doesn't mean you'll change anyone's mind who doesn't care.

I'm sure the golden diaper wearing mental health crisis voting bloc is one Trump attack ad away from revelation tho

Kinda silly to expect an "Ah-ha!" moment for more than a small handful of people this late in the game

Elon being creepy to TSwizz probably did more to help Dems than anything Trump could do to negatively affect Republican votes

I am pumped to play the Deadspace remake as it's basically just a massive update and 100% original

But I absolutely love the changes they made to RE4. Kept all the charm and loads of tasteful improvements.

If you're not doing a 100% updated remake, definitely use the RE4 model of remaking a game

You're confusing rich Republicans who benefit from Trump, and the poor/middle class who get absolutely nothing but racisim and Christianity.

The super wealthy bankroll everything and get all the rewards + power.

But the votes that put him in office are 95% from people who will be hurt by deregulation, crushed by increased taxes (that pay for the racisim and forced Christianity), and want the freedom to openly hate anything they don't like (which they believe was woked away from them).

The idiots who will be crushed by Trump the hardest are his biggest fans.

Hey now, the stochastic terrorists have never been busier!

Oh, you mean consequences for bad behaviour? That only happens to poor people

A Republican isn't gonna read that wall of text and neither am I, because it doesn't matter.

Everything and more you listed Trump does doesn't matter to his voters, because he's gonna be super racist and super pro Christian and that's literally the entire Republican voter Christmas list, so anything else is irrelevant.

And dirty my only bowl with something that's already in a bowl like vessel that could be easily improved on to resolve the issue entirely?

No.

Plenty of dip correctly comes in wide containers. If people want to pour their salsa in/on to stuff, they can pay extra for tall jars with all this bowl money they apparently have.

It's a shame they missed the (imo) significantly more poignant joke of having the guy painting from the roof to cover up "Don't".

It's not just Republicans, but Republicans are notorious for their universal double standards that only one without shame can have.

To varying degrees, every single person has things in their life that they like, and no amount of accurate, undeniable, objective, information about it being bad/wrong/inefficient etc will change their mind unless they decide they want to.

There's plenty of disqualifying traits for Republicans, which is a large part of why they now have a God king who wears diapers and has more fingers than functional brain cells.

I'm not sure if it's stomach problems causing anxiety, or anxiety causing stomach problems 🤔

Considering I'm sending this from the toilet, probably both.

The initial plan had been for the first fab to achieve full production this year, but the timeline was delayed due to several workforce challenges. These included difficulties in finding skilled workers locally, cultural differences between TSMC's Taiwanese management and American employees, and a shortage of skilled construction workers that slowed the building process. This delay raised concerns about TSMC's ability to maintain efficiency with its US operations compared to its facilities in Taiwan.

Recent success in trial production has alleviated some of these concerns. TSMC has confirmed that the Arizona project is progressing as planned, although the company has not commented specifically on yield rates.

"The report marks the 15th human case of an H5-type bird flu infection in the country since 2022. But, the case stands out—and is quickly generating alarm online—because the man reported no contact with animals. All 14 of the previous cases occurred in farmworkers who had contact with either dairy cows or poultry that were known to be infected with H5N1."

I don't think they're necessarily saying it was spontaneous bird flu, it's much easier to determine the animal(s) that gave a farm worker avian flu than testing every animal/person who interacted with someone.

Seconding using connect for Lemmy!

So my parents got scammed last night, fraud case is open but it's likely not gonna go anywhere and they'll be out 10K - they know better and now they really know better, and I'm hoping to get some advice on a repayment strategy.

They absolutely don't have that kind of money and repayment will take a while.

Plan one is just put it on the mortgage, but they're currently locked in at a lower rate for 2 more years, so adjusting that isn't ideal if it changes the rate. If not, adding 10K to mortgage is no brainer.

Line of credit does carry lower interests, but it will accrue daily, credit cards are high interest, but interest is racked up monthly.

Would it be possible/smart (assuming +10K credit card capacity) to move LoC debt to the credit card for 25 ish days a month to avoid daily LoC interest, and then send the debt back to LoC for 5ish days (transfer time) and have the credit card at $0 at the end of every month? No credit card interest and far less days for LoC debt to accrue interest?

Obviously there is risk in not having the credit card paid off in time, but would this strategy be viable if properly executed?
