I'm a nurse (in Europe), and I do have a lot of fun at work. Sure, it can be hard or a grind sometimes, but at the end of 95% of my shifts I feel satisfied that I helped people. The atmosphere is good among colleagues and we have a killer union. It's ridiculous how secure my position is.

All in all, I truly enjoy what I do and after a long period of absence from work, whether it was to study, get better during illness or simply after a week or two off, I long to work again; help people; have a laugh with my colleagues.

Not all jobs are the same and I know that, I'm just lucky to be doing 'my dream job' and that I found it early in life.

Who said your ancestors actually practiced Christianity? It's only hearsay, he didn't talk with his ancestors, they might have been atheist and just kept up appearances for all others. If he just believes whatever he's told, he's just a sheep following the wolf. Good on you for thinking for yourself. It's the start of a beautiful fulfilling life.

I have nothing against practicing your own religion, you do you, but it should never be forced onto others. That's brainwashing.

Most blood thinners work for 7 days after you stop taking them because that's how long thrombocytes live in your bloodstream.

Field Hockey, or just Hockey as it's called, is a lot more popular than ice Hockey in (most of) Europe and possibly the rest of the world, excluding the USA and Canada.

Just like Football is extremely popular in the whole world except for North America, where they gave it a different name and then invented another game and called that Football.

The world is a big strange place sometimes.

I actually caught myself mouthing "What the fuck" at the water part of your comment. That's some third world country shit. Everyone's entitled to water, it's the most basic human right. How would one argue that a ruling like that benefits the people?

Does the IRS send a letter to everyone in the USA every year?

Why is this even a thing in the USA? In Belgium, everyone over the age of 18 just gets a letter in the mail. Making people go for tedious registration and what not sounds very undemocratic to me.

If only he was as big as Trump. Would have definitely gotten away with it. Sigh
