Wait people affiliated with Indivisible and DSA showed up to a Sanders Rally!!?? That's absolutely SHOCKING . and ActBlue is funding them?? But then... Where.. who's funding ActBlue? It might be the same DSA/Indivisible people!

Full circle folks, full circle.

/s for the dense. Its totally normal to join activist movements, donate to the cause, and show up to rallys with the other activists in said movement. I have no idea what this twat is on about.

I'll stress that's just to get in the door. Usually if you're going to the doctor they'll want to run xrays, CT scans, MRIs, blood tests, whatever diagnostics and it starts escalating fast.

But this is stuff people can plan for. Emergency visits are much worse in my experience, suffering from appendicitis would have put us $40k in the hole overnight without insurance.

A bad cold or flu you probably wouldn't go to a doctor, just an urgent care clinic for some antibiotics or whatever. Probably run $100-$150 + cost of meds (hopefully generic).

If urgent care can't help, an out of pocket visit to primary care provider will be closer to $300 just to step in the door. Hospitals will put you on a payment plan if you can't front it.

“And with all the money they’re saving from the fraud, they could afford to give their senior citizens an increase,” said Lester, who is retired from construction work.

Wow, they really think Trump is compiling some kind of jackpot that'll pay out big to the people. Looking more and more like US really are a nation of suckers.

Monsanto gets so much worse than polluting. They tried (succeeded? Not sure) in hooking farmers to only buying their seeds through genetic modification to grow anything. I remember huge protests, then we all sort of moved on.

Sinclair group in the US, bought up basically every local news station and began inserting propaganda into scripts as stories. Highly insidious because the older population generally trusted their local news anchors more than the national outlets.

GEO group, one of the largest private prison corporations that also manages ice detention facilities and many mental institutions, not sure I need to say much more.

Woah, a CD tray you're right! I was imagining it slot loaded like a Wii, but I reckon that wasn't around or too expensive hah. Shame about the missing bits

This image features popular cartoon and video game characters, sitting around a table with a large pile of cash and what appears to be drug-related items. The characters are depicted in a way that contrasts with their usual family-friendly personas, giving the scene a dark or satirical twist.

I have a problem with my International Space Station 21321 set, all the blue clips that hold the panels to the main beams are crumbling, and weakened enough that I wake up to panels on the floor. I have no idea why this is happening, but hoping someone can help? Ideas I can do different to prevent it after I replace these parts? It seems to effect all the blue clips not just the big ones, even the little pod lost one of its solar panels :(

Some details, it's probably 4 years old now. I keep it on display but not under glass, in a 72f room. I have difficulty keeping it totally dust free as it's very fragile to begin with, but it's never really been touched otherwise.

Thanks for any ideas

Edit: not the technic connectors, the blue solar panel pattern tiles are the problem

I undertook a sizeable upgrade today, bringing a skylake era build into the 2020s with a 13th gen. All core components- memory, motherboard, GPU, everything must go... except the drives. We were nervous, my friend really felt we should reinstall. There was debate, and drama. Considerations and exceptions. No, I couldn't let my OS go. I have spent years tweaking and tuning, molding my ideal computing environment. We pushed forward.

Well I'm pleased to say it was mostly uneventful. The ethernet adapter was renamed causing misconfigured dhcp, but otherwise it booted right up like nothing happened. Sorry, linux is boring now.
