Does Hamas try to contact civilians who live in harm's way to leave targeted areas? Nope, that's the IDF.
I am disgusted with the loss of any innocent life. So don't put that on me; shame on you for making that accusation. I think you're confused about what I'm saying: Hamas knew perfectly well when they raped Israeli women, cut off their breasts, and paraded their bodies around town square that they were provoking military force against Palestinian civilians -- because their military installations are built underneath civilian infrastructure. They knew and they didn't care, and they still don't care, because it's martyrdom in their eyes.
I don't remember ever reading about the jews in Germany slaughtering innocent teenagers at a peace rave using assault rifles, or blowing children up with hand grenades, or raping women, cutting off their breasts, and parading their bodies in the street. Somehow I missed the part about the jews in Nazi Germany continually showering the German populace with rockets.
Israel has a right to defend itself against a regime that is committed to its destruction and whose stated goal is to keep raping and killing Jewish civilians until there are none left. Hamas started this current fighting on October 7 by murdering as many helpless civilians as they could. And ironically there's no group more committed to the destruction of Palestinian civilians than Hamas itself.
It's a war.

There was a ceasefire on Oct. 6. Then Hamas and other Palestinian fighters started the present conflict in Gaza on Oct.7. I won't recount how because Lemmy doesn't like to hear when what they perceive to be a victim group commits unthinkable atrocities. But then they took these hostages back into Gaza, and hid them in tunnels under civilian infrastructure. This is fact. Hamas started the present war, but everyone only blames Israel. I believe this qualifies as what you call victim blaming bullshit.
