You are more advanced than us! We have just a large planter full of rocks with enough water for a solar powered pump to keep it circulating. It stops at night but generally keeps it pretty fresh.

We just top it up when the level gets too low for the pump, and empty it in the winter (which lets the rocks dry off and clean up over winter too).

I do mentorship (which is actually very perplexing that they want me to do this lol) and it takes so much energy that I have to really space it out but other than that I mostly kinda just let them do their own thing and don't pay much mind unless asked to 🤷🏻‍♀️
