I'd throw Painkiller into the ring. I still think of "shurikens and lightning" whenever I think of it https://youtu.be/qk7DlYcQ0uM
And Alina of the Arena. It's essentially Into the Breach meets Slay the Spire
Not saying it's true here, but I've run into some games where playing the Windows version with proton runs better than the native Linux client.
It's weird, I liked a lot of the things they did mechanically: I liked that they filled a lot of "negative possibility space" where if I saw a boulder on top of the hill and decide to push it just for fun, the game acknowledges it. The freedom of traversal was also interesting.
But I really disliked how they did lots of mini-dungeons instead of some really in-depth ones. I was very disappointed in the first Legendary Creature what whatever they're called, and kinda switched off after that.
Yeah, I'll often start with duckduckgo and give it a couple tries if I can't find what I want, but then I go back to Googleand typically find it.
The harder they push their official app, the more sketched out by it I am.
Interesting, I had assumed it was also doing some kind of live query when asked. Given that, I'm surprised there's as much conversation and popularity as opposed to "new bing," which I'm sure is a huge irritation for Microsoft. I know it has a crappy name, and "bing" doesn't really have a sexy connotation anyways, but it seems like it provides a lot more of what people actually want from ChatGPT (although my understanding is new bing is based on ChatGPT v3 so in some ways is ChatGPT)
Looking at the Wikipedia and googling around a little bit, it seems that these are "new" with respect to the vehicles, but it is an old design. It seems(maybe?) that China was licensing the manufacture of them from Russia, so it's slightly ironic they're being sold back, but I don't know how common that is.
The full quote is interesting, they kinda double down
It has been an honor to have spent the last year defending him, and we know he will be vindicated in his battle against the Biden Administration’s partisan weaponization of the American justice system
Now that the case has been filed in Miami, this is a logical moment for us to step aside and let others carry the cases through to completion. We have no plans to hold media appearances that address our withdrawals or any other confidential communications we’ve had with the President or his legal team.
I also don't have legal knowledge, but considering this is a federal case, I wouldn't have thought that the case being filed in Miami would make much difference. At the very least if you were extremely confident in the case I think you'd make every effort to stay involved.
I haven't actually used ChatGPT, but I've used the "new bing" AI. With that, whenever it states something as fact, it fixes a citation to a website where it pulled it, so you can verify things. Does ChatGPT do that as well?
Reminder that according to DeSantis's general counsel in a courtroom, when asked to define "woke" said
the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them.
Which doesn't sound like such a bad thing
Yeah, people are talking about the hesitation with the bugs, but I'm just hesitant on the gameplay. Procedural worlds, scanning, "barren but resource rich planets" don't sound like riveting gameplay to me. The actual gameplay that was shown looked alright, but parts of it felt really weak. Worried they want the wrong way on Ambition vs. Fun
