Really? I've been seeing articles about how chatgpt is insecure garbage for a couple years now.
Nothing to worry about unless you've signed a contract with someone. Normally when you sign with a record label you're selling them the rights to your music, so they could sue you if you try to give it away or sell it without them being involved. Record labels are known to be pretty predatory...
People who were/are upset about singular they really don't understand that language change is pervasive and unstoppable.
What do you mean by this, exactly? As someone who is deeply "engrained" (?) in the field of linguistics, surely you must be aware that singular "they" has been in usage since the 14th century.
Real engineers run all their code on CPUs they designed in verilog/VHDL.
To be fair, if you have an engineering degree that covered programming you probably learned C, ASM, and low level details about system architecture. But the definition of "engineer" seems a little looser when you're taking about IT compared to some other fields - SWE is the only "engineering" title you can get without a formal education, AFAIK.
This one is a buzzword.

Same here, I have a business grade laser printer and it's worked flawlessly on Linux and windows without any extra work to set up. And the laser toner has a much longer shelf life than ink. The downside is it's black and white and still cost more than a consumer grade color printer.

While that's true, I think that group of users are mainly speculators, not people interested in using it as a currency. And most criticism I've seen about crypto (at least when comparing it to fiat) is that it's too volatile to be a useful currency, and the volatility is driven by speculation. So I don't think they're as innocent as you said, even if they are uninformed.
