It's more about the fact you settled to go the windows route to solve this. Couldn't you have just downloaded the profiles from their fork's GitHub and then import them into the standard version of Orca Slicer? https://github.com/tinymachines3d/Slicer/blob/main/OrcaSlicer/Profiles/Troodon%202.0%20OrcaSlicer%201.7.0%20Profiles.7z

There's not much to mod if you have the first gen hardware. A 3D printed part and a paperclip can get the exploit going for ya

Keep in mind that a factory reset won't put the device back on a stable release, it's just clearing out the data for the currently installed firmware.

Bambu studio doesn't have support painting? I'm using it in Orca slicer but maybe that was brought in from prusa slicer.
