They were never acting ethically out of the kindness of their heart to begin with, so their morals haven’t degraded (they were never there, it was always the regulations)

The amoral corporate behavior is to offer everyone involved so much money, which is the weak point of all humans - if there's enough money involved, it should be able to pay out as many people as it takes, to get something done your way.

What we're experiencing now, is the ridiculous power some have and the way they abuse it.
