They were never acting ethically out of the kindness of their heart to begin with, so their morals havenβt degraded (they were never there, it was always the regulations)
thanks! :) that's how i understand it too, but "what was never there in the first place" can refer to so many different things in this context :D
The amoral corporate behavior is to offer everyone involved so much money, which is the weak point of all humans - if there's enough money involved, it should be able to pay out as many people as it takes, to get something done your way.
What we're experiencing now, is the ridiculous power some have and the way they abuse it.

political power has become the economical power's little bitch...
