Just a fair warning, make sure you go to a computer store in person and and make sure you want 32 inches, it can be quite big, I nearly made the mistake of buying one before realising I couldn't stomach it.
Yeah, 32" are heavy. I have a M32Q from a few years ago and I always make sure to use 2 hands and know where I moving it to and from. It also has 2 stuck pixels that every other week unstuck themselves for about a year now.
I meant that it's a big screen size not that I physically can't lift 5lbs.
Dang im using a 77 inch screen and I could still go bigger
32" is awesome, its very hard to go back to anything else for me. But people indeed need to understand that there is an ideal viewing ideal distance further away than most common monitors, that might not work with all kinds of desks. For me that's 3ft/90cm ish.
I know your comment is old, but I just had an epiphany recently. If you like a bit of hardware one year just wait for the black Friday deals the next year and get it.
I came to this revelation when I saw the price of a monitor I bought for about 1k in January drop down to 600 on black Friday and I don't even live in the US so our black friday deals are shit. I won't be making the same mistake with the M32U.
Well I just picked up the MAG321UPF and it came with a dead pixel on the top center and 2 other bad pixels. Also I realized why it is cheaper than a M32U. The thing has no speakers.
I’m returning it today for a refund.
All I want is an OLED with 16:10 at 32" or larger in 1440p. Enjoying the aw3423dwf but I'd rather have the vertical space for both gaming and productivity. It's too short!
I loved my AW38 for the short while I had it, the extra vertical pixels of WQHD+ was amazing for productivity. There needs to be more 16:10 and 3:2 monitors.
I just switched from a 32" 16:9 to the AW3423DWF and I miss the vertical space of the 16:9. Everything about the AW is better though.

next year first half though i remember seeing asus saying if everything goes great we might even see it before march?
both Asus and Dell's alienware have already announced it but the major difference will be that Asus one will be flat and dell's alienware will have the curve

Those aren't ultrawides. Just 32" monitors.
That will probably cost you the same as a pc that can make use of that kind of monitor
4090 13900k Runs my 49" 1440p in ultra settings around 160fps. 4k is a little more than two 27" 1440p but not by a crazy amount.
I also want this, but I like having only one mortgage on my house.
I really wanted the Odyssey Neo G7 since I initially got released ,but after trying the regular Odyssey G7 and noticing its glaring issues:flickering during certain black backgrounds,firmware issues (not even switching between sources) and the curve being a constant distraction,I went with the safer Gigabyte M28U instead.
Solid choice in every aspect,but HDR is all but useless and its contrast could be better. Also its official GCC software is sometimes buggy.
I have a neo g7, it's pretty much flawless and the HDR is good. Not as good as my S90C but it's a good HDR experience and the dimming works well.
I'm not budging until micro LED IPS is out. Needs 1:5000+ contrast too. OLED is bait for consumers.

Why are displays still struggling to get high resolutions. Only 4K at 27” or 32” is just lame.
Because there isn't a market for them. Companies would love to sell you 8k displays, but the improvement in perceived quality is kind of marginal and apparently early adopters aren't buying them enough.
Why should you buy something that's not worth it? My sweet spot is 27' 1440p, maybe sometime in the future I'll switch to 4k but never 8k. I don't think my eyes will see anything above 4k at 27', i barely see the difference from 1440p to 4k. So yeah, you are right.

Did you forget these quacks pointed lights directly at a monitor and gave it bad ratings (Alienware Ultrawide, iirc) and then when called out said to “Just trust us we’re the experts”?
AMD unboxed were clowns then, and remain clowns now.
the MSI MAG323UPF sounds like a solid option, especially at that price point. it's always good to check out the size in person before committing to a 32-inch monitor.

Corsair sells a 45" 3440x1440 OLED at 240hz.
