Spain should cut ties with Israel. Just follow South Africa's example.

We still don't know the actual casualty figures. All we have is information from the Hamas terrorist group.

The casualty figures provided by Gaza's medical institutions are generally agreed to be considered trustworthy because they've been consistently confirmed afterwards, by organizations such as the WHO, across the years. I understand distrust of Hamas, but these figures come from medical professionals, who generally just want to do their job regardless of the political figures they have to answer to.

Personally, I'm more worried about the potential mortal victims of the internal displacement due to the shitshow of forcing over half a million people to leave their homes to refugee camps that have serious difficulties to receive supplies, which might currently not be properly reported due to the lack of organization.

The trouble is, they say whatever Hamas tells them to say. Information coming out is going through a terrorist group's filter. International governments aren't allowed to monitor what's happening inside.

What the hell are you talking about? There are a multitude of journalists and international observers, risking their lives and dying to be there covering the facts and verifying.

We have the casualty numbers from the official body that every major organization in the world and including the US government, among others, considers highly reliable.

They are taking the word of Hamas terrorists.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Whom they consider highly reliable in regards to reporting of casualties.

[–] [email protected] -4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

6 weeks ago those "highly reliable" Hamas sources were beheading babies and raping their mothers.

Ah, I thought you were being hyperbolic, but you were seriously trying to claim that the Ministry of Health members are the same as Hamas.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No. I am stating that Hamas terrorists control what they say.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And yet every major organization and multiple governments, including the US, consider their numbers reliable. So they clearly don't think Hamas controls what the Ministry of Health says.

[–] [email protected] -3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The Hamas terrorists own the mouths of all entities withing Gaza.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Then why does practically everyone important consider the Ministry of Health's death and casualty numbers reliable and have considered the Ministry's numbers as such for years?
