  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

Netherlands did you guys learn nothing from us in the US when we tried that?

They clearly learned plenty since they made a good choice.

The guy who publicly mocked a cameraman for having a disability was a good choice to learn from? The guy who stated that a neo-nazi group had "good people" in it? The guy that used his office for political gain by demanding dirt on Biden (his political enemy) under threat of terminating an arms deal for Ukraine that was about to get attacked by Russia? The guy who had his mob attack the capital in an attempt to overthrow the government/democracy/election? The guy that needlessly started a trade war with China that drove the prices of everything up? The guy that botched the handling of COVID? The guy that basically quoted Hitler the other day by calling his political enemies vermin who must be destroyed? The guy who neutered the EPA and environmental regulation? The guy who instituted a policy that irreparably separated immigrant parents from their children?

That guy? That guy was good to learn from?

We'll continue to see authoritarian nationalist candidates manipulate people hurting from the global AI-induced inflation untill governments take appropriate steps to curb corporate greed. These wins and transitory though, because just like in the USA with Trump, the rabid right doesn't actually have a plan to improve lives. The get elected by blaming, yelling, and fear mongering. Then they try to keep power through any method they can. If they succeed past a first term, you get Hungary, Turkey, etc.

Did you ask chatgpt to give you the most worthless list of buzzwords possible and just copy paste the results?

Yeah, I was looking at this page https://www.cbs.nl/en-gb/dossier/asylum-migration-and-integration/how-many-people-immigrate-to-the-netherlands- and it doesn't look to me like they have a big problem, but I don't really know what the situation is. It looks like a whole lot of Russians, maybe many of them trying to avoid conscription.

Is it the Russians this guy is all worked up about? Or Muslims? Because there doesn't seem to be a significant number of them there.
