R1, homophobia. I get your intent wasnt to insult gay people, so Im not removing it and putting on the federated mod log, but next time, please dont call things gay.

R1, removed for copyright. In the future, please don't repost the news articles in the comments.

He got banned from lemm.ee. Regardless of the reason, that means that people on lemm.ee, like this mod account, won't be able to see his posts and comments. It makes proper moderation nearly impossible and completely unreasonable, because I would have to go to every federated site and check from their end what comments were made that wouldn't be seen elsewhere.

This applies for every account banned from lemm.ee.

Didn't I already ask you to tone down the race stuff? I appreciate the content, but Id rather avoid this kind of stuff. TBH, I dont know if this is starting to cross the line into racism or if its just being bothered by racism or what.

Man, I hate judgement calls.

Rule 2, removed. Posts must have a pro-right wing, or anti-left wing bias.

Thats fair, and thats exactly why I let you make the decision.

We have a new mod on the team. @[email protected]

Full disclosure, this was made because my mod actions aren't federated to places I'm banned. This account isn't banned anywhere, so federation shouldn't be a problem.

Goes without saying, this mod account is only going to be used for moderator actions.

(Also, I've created a bug report on github, hopefully this gets fixed soon. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4409 )
