Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Vice signaling.

Fascists take pleasure in the suffering of others, and pat each other on the back for being as horrible of a human being as possible.

It's no coincidence that they react with glee whenever "41%" is brought up: They want you dead, and they won't be satisfied until every queer person is either killed or put into camps.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Sorry, I'm naive here, what's 41% about?

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 year ago

It's the percentage of trans people who have attempted suicide.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

The percentage of cops who beat their wives.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)
[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

That's the self reported number. The actual percentage is probably significantly higher.

Remember when CPAC had a banner that said "We are all domestic terrorists"? This is why.

Before I read the article I assumed she was proud of bomb threats against her by libs she pissed off... but no. She is proud she inspired her followers to make bomb threats. What a psycho.

Domestic terrorist

[–] PsychedSy 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

No, she's proud she's being blamed for shit she doesn't think she had anything to do with.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago

Isis style, literally

What happens to these people during the course of their lives to make them this terrible?

[–] Ghyste 32 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This is exactly what I want to know. I seriously don't want to believe that so many people are this stupid. I am unfortunately presented with strong evidence daily that there are millions of people who are, in fact, this fucking stupid.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

the comfort there is that even if there are millions of shitheels there are billions and billions of decent people

[–] Ghyste 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Amen to that. It's easy to forget.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

media is designed to make us forget it, as worry, anger, and hatred are much more engaging and profitable.

[–] Ghyste 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

Also true. And sad. It's damn near impossible to find news that is just news now.

I ask GPT4's bing version the news around the world for the day. It gives very bland, informative headlines with citations, and you can ask it to expand. I really like it.

An example:

The World Health Organization (WHO) member states are being urged to ensure human rights protections in a draft “pandemic treaty."

when asked to expand:

The WHO member states are negotiating a draft "pandemic treaty" from November 6-10, aiming to prevent future global health crises by addressing the shortcomings revealed by the Covid-19 pandemic response. However, human rights organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch argue that the current draft fails to adequately integrate human rights protections, especially the right to health and the right to benefit from scientific progress. They criticize the treaty for not ensuring accountability for a rights-compliant response to pandemics, and for being influenced by corporate interests over those of marginalized communities. The organizations emphasize that the treaty should enforce international human rights law, particularly in the equitable distribution of health products during emergencies.

it included this link as its citation but I watched it think and it touched a few more sites: https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/11/07/draft-pandemic-treaty-fails-protect-rights

Ooh nice. Thanks for the advice.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

It also helps me win arguments on the internet.

I wonder if she was passed over by a man for some encounter for a trans female. Or maybe she had feelings for a lesbian, but was repressed or was denied by the other person.

Or maybe she was just always a mean girl who never grew the fuck up.

"Libs of TikTok is a handle for various far-right and anti-LGBT social-media accounts operated by Chaya Raichik a former real estate agent."

Explains everything.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

Realtors are seriously some of the worst people. I used to work with them on the regular, they suck.

[–] [email protected] 44 points 1 year ago (3 children)

I don’t get it. If the fascists win, she’ll be subjugated with everyone else. Does that bitch not get that?

[–] [email protected] 39 points 1 year ago

You're so wrong. She's obviously going to be considered one of the good ones and left alone.... /s

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Yes. Reminds of me of The Handmaid's Tale: Offred's commander's wife was a TV personality and a vocal proponent of more traditional roles for women, but at the time of the story it's obvious she's been hoisted on her own petard.

So. Check out the top comment.

Edited to include another screenshot showing how many degenerates support this crap.

I'm not surprised in the least.

[–] [email protected] 23 points 1 year ago

Put this dumb asshole in prison.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

Stochastic terrorism. The victims should sue her for everything she has.

[–] [email protected] 10 points 1 year ago

Both her and Elon should go to prison.
