Caps fan. I've only been around since 07 though so I'm going to pick something that's stuck with me since it happened.

'08 playoffs - Round 1 - Game 7.

2nd Period. Capitals netminder Huet gets interfered with by the Flyers forward after he hits the Caps Dman onto Huet, pushing the goalie out of the crease. Half a second layer the puck is in the net. Washington goes onto lose in 2OT.

That was my first experience of #capspain and it's stuck with me ever since.

Offending play is at 2:30

What about you? Buffalo fans, I think we know where this is going, same goes for Vegas fans (maybe?).

How and when did the officials hurt you?

As a Leafs fan, it was before my time, but Gretzky's high stick on Gilmour back that went uncalled in – was it '93? – is supposedly a pivotal moment in that series.

In more recent memory, Holl's interference penalty on a "pick" play in game 7 two years back would have tied the game in the third

It was pivotal. The Kings were on a power play in OT of game 6. Gretzky high sticked Gilmour and cut him, but there was no call. Gretzky should have been in the box for a double minor, but instead scored on that same power play forcing a game 7.

As a Sabres fan, there’s the very obvious one but I’m not so sure I’d go back on it. That Sabres team was dragged kicking and screaming to the finals by Hasek, he was just that good. I’m not super confident they win that series even if it was No Goal.

On the other hand, I’ve talked before about something I would change. It doesn’t entirely fit this scenario, but the delay of game penalty taken by Campbell at the end of the 2006 ECF very likely cost the Sabres the Cup that year. I think they had a very good chance beating Edmonton that year. If I had my way, a puck going over the glass isn’t an automatic penalty and the Sabres make the final that year, and very possibly winning the Cup.

Sharks fan here. This is a weird one because this benefitted my team, but I'm gonna say the uncalled hand pass in the 2019 playoffs that won the Sharks the game in OT. After that, the refs swallowed their whistles for the Sharks and didn't call anything in their favor for the rest of the series. By the end of the series, the Sharks had only like 12 guys on the bench because so many players were injured, mostly from concussions.

I'd go with this. One of those pictures was a no call, one was a game misconduct and a 5k fine.

I'm a Sens fan, but without a doubt it's Game 6 of the 2004 SCF. Calgary was robbed of the Cup by Fraser.

1980s Stanley Cup finals. Islanders’ egregious offsides drop pass against the Flyers. I was 6 months old and still mad as hell for my dad 😂
