I was looking forward to the feature where the timer for a selfie starts after raising the palm, but it's not working. Like the other features, it's probably still being rolled out?
edit: After updating the camera app, palm selfie is working as well now.
Same here. No palm selfies, emoji wallpaper or adaptive vibrate. UK. P7P
For the emoji wallpapers there's an update for Emoji Workshop Wallpaper on the play store. I'm still trying to figure out how to get palm selfies working though. Does anyone have it available already (Pixel 7 pro)?
Just got the update, not seeing the cinematic wallpaper button or the emoji one in the wallpaper and style menu.
Any suggestions how to turn it on?
Edit: on pixel 7 btw
Is it by regions I'm located in Europe and some features sometimes come late
Could be, its very weird because all the features have already been mentioned in Pixel tips app. For sometime i thought i was going insane and couldn't follow the simple instructions mentioned in the tips app x(
I installed the emoji wallpaper, restart my phone, and it is now working.
Same here and I have p7p
Woo! Downloading the factory images now.
Does anyone have the emoji wallpaper?
I actually don't have the emoji or cinematic wallpapers still. Maybe a server side update.
We just have to wait and see
I got separated update via Play Store and then was able to setup emoji wallpaper.
Which app was the update for on the Play store?
Emoji workshop wallpaper https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.emojiwallpaper
Thanks, still no update on my end :(
Same I just updated and no sign of emoji wallpaper Damn 😮💨
No ota here yet
Not seeing OTA yet. P7Pro on Fi
Whoop!
Got it on my Pixel 6 Pro, cinematic wallpaper hangs when I try to use a photo from a shared Google photo album.
Edit: Worked the second time I tried. Impressed by the cutout, seems better than the fake bokeh blur cutouts.
Bought unlocked directly from Google P7P . Tmob is carrier. No ota June yet
I'm still waiting for the OTA, since I got the last Pixel Feature Drop early...I'll be last in line this time. I'm excited for the Emoji Workshop feature, the options for generating cute wallpapers delightful!
I think there might be some issues. I've seen a lot of people who have AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Mint and others report that they still have not received the updated. I saw some issues about contact sync and messed up 5G signal. I'm not sure what is true and what's not because the carriers and Google never tell us what's going on.
Yeah, it's frustrating because communication with one's users is important. It doesn't even have to be an overly detailed post. Just a we're sorry there are problems with the June Pixel Feature Drop.
Exactly! A simple post on social media or whatever would do. Instead we get the silent treatment and wonder what's going on.
It's surprising they've not got their social media teams working on something so simple. Being a Corpo sucks the empathy out of people, I suppose.
Got it a few hours ago. Not much that I'm interested in is included, bar security issues, but the changes should keep others happy. However, I do appreciate the new Enhanced PIN Privacy setting, which hides the animation and the numbers showing when you type in the PIN.
