I don't think anyone wants to give James Harden a max contract at this point.

I can’t blame them. I don’t think he’d be a good fit anyway
The rockets need a vet that can stabilize the team and show the young guys the ropes. Unfortunately i dont think Harden would be a good example.
He's a great player but he shows up for like half the time in the postseason and he's just getting older. Max isn't in the cards anymore
Does he deserve a max?
No it's going to quickly become one of the worst contracts in the league. Can't give out money based on "legacy." Which is why I fully expect my Sixers to do just that.
