I am a firm believer in freedom of the press, but my god is it hard to hold onto that belief these days with the outright lies that get aired and zero consequences to that lying.

MODERATORS
Outsized influence means outsized regulation. Every small outlet should be able to publish completely as they please. The bigger one gets and the more limited resources one takes (from the traditional radio spectrum to modern social media front page real estate), the more one should be subject to fair regulation. The fairness doctrine needs to come back now more than ever.
