Are they doing anything special to celebrate? Like a free download?

Too bad it's not on April 1st. They could have made the site require a subscription.

I'm surprised they're still around! That's my go-to site for torrents, and I almost always find what I'm looking for.

If you want a true successor, switch to 1337x. They have a better selection of torrents, and an active community that both the users and uploaders participate in. Just like the old Pirate Bay. Current PB is a shell of its former self. It isn't even been run by the same people anymore, and it shows.

None of the original creators are still involved.

It's weird to celebrate 20 years when its been less time than that since the hand-off.

It was never really the same site afterwards.

We celebrate 20 year of the domain existing.
