My cat is afraid of heights and deathly so of plastic bags
My cat will let me touch and pet him anywhere. He will get up and walk away if he's done with it. I'll roll him around on the floor like a rolling pin or play the bongos on his belly or butt. Sometimes he will want to play rough and will play bite and bunny kick my hand but it's never actual aggression.
My friends cat will let you pet him quite rough but he doesn't like his belly or back legs pet. He will gently let you know with a kind nip and a little yip sound. Hasn't been hissy or scratchy but I think it's because he knows me and we are pals.
My cat fuckin loves tummy rubs. He plops on the floor on his back in front of me and eats em up without ever doing that crazy cat thing where he changes his mind and attacks, unless I explicitly provoke it. He also lets me touch his tail and has no qualms with my clipping his claws, though sometimes he just gets done sitting in my lap making the claws harder to clip. But if I get him I. The right state he just dgaf and let’s me clip them all.

As others have said it really depends on the cat. My two let us do all, the belly as long as it's very gently
We have three cats, two brothers and one girl a year older than them. Both boys love (and beg for) belly rubs so much that you could practically mop the floor with them!
The girl, however, is very skittish. (She was socialized a bit too late.) She tolerates people and whatnot, but lets you know VERY quickly when she’s done. However, she is also my cat specifically. She trusts me and loves me, and while petting her, she will very distinctly roll over, show her belly, and let me rub it while she licks me!
So, to answer your question, it can be normal for your cat to love all that attention! It mainly comes down to personality/temperament, your bond with the cat, and how much they trust you. What’s also noteworthy is that she shows you her limits, and you obey them. By doing this, you show her that you can be trusted for further petting and loving!
Depends largely on both of our moods. Usually yes, any type of snug.

My cat loves belly rubs. He can go for 30 minutes straight no problem, no biting or anything.
My cat is fine with anything except being carried for a long period of time, he’s great.
Oh yess! Sometimes i just put my face in their and go prrrrrrrr and they don't mind 😺 They would both rather walk away than hurt in any way luckily
A lot of what you hear is mostly tongue in cheek but also from those who don’t know how to cat.
Mine has clear indications of belly rubs are ok (she will flop over). Tail pats are almost always ok. Picking up is a dead set NO though. Cats are as individual as their owners I guess :)
My cat demands it my meowing super loud and annoyingly while rolling on her back. Every animal is different, regardless of what people say..unless it's a health thing that is
I have two cats that are sisters. One loves belly scritches. Her sister hates them.
Cats have their own personalities. Some don’t mind being picked up, some love it, others hate it. Same goes for belly rubs.
I think the key thing is trust. If you’re to do any of these things with a cat, it must trust you enough first. That is especially the case for touching the belly 😉
My partner's cat lets us pick him up and play with his tail, but he doesn't like belly rubs. He's very chill as long as you don't touch his belly. He lets you pet him anywhere else, though.
None of my cats mind anymore. They used to get a bit nippy when they were kittens but now they trust me or something 🤷♂️
Depends on the cat.
Some hate it, others like being lifted but no belly rubs, some cats straight up like to be carried around cradeled like a human baby while getting belly scratches.
But in cats often don't like being pet one single way for an extended period of time or in general be overstimulated. You have to switch it up or they might become "playfully" aggressive to make you stop, and actually aggressive if you don't.
My cat is the same but also in short bursts. I feel like carrying a cat is generally fine if they trust you and you do it in a way that isn't uncomfortable for them.
Allowing belly rubs is a sign of deep trust from a cat you didn't raise, or a sign of a comfortable, secure cat with no doubts about the safety and continuation of their home and family. It's a no-no for strangers to the cat, but if your cat is letting you, it's a sign of the secure bond between you two.
The cats I raised from kittens will roll onto their backs and stretch for belly rubs when I walk into the room, but the cats I rescued are less enthusiastic about it. They all have grown to let me rub their bellies, but the one who lived outside before rescue would only ever roll onto her side tucked against me so my hand moved onto her belly, and the one from relatives will expose his belly but grumble about me petting it.
My cat hates getting brushed and hates any form of wet food, including any human food (except for ice cream). So yeah. Cat's are weird like that.
My cat will roll over for belly rubs but don't you dare touch the belly unless it has been offered. She is fine with being picked up for short periods of time and is actually fine with her tail being touched.
I have two cats.
One who is a snuggle bug that likes everything. He is like a cat teddy bear.
The other one won’t let you touch him. The only way to pet him is with my feet when he jumps on the bed and curls up at the end of the bed.
Some cats hate it. Some cats don't mind if you don't show any aggressivity. I have yet to see a cats that begs for belly rubs though.
My asks for it almost daily, but he also taught himself how to play fetch so maybe he's part dog.

Our boy taught himself how to play fetch as well!
Honestly, I think he then trained me to it, if 6am most days is any indication.
My boy flops down on his side next to me on the couch and lifts his leg to better provide access to his belly. Every night.
I have one that literally rolls over on her back next to me to receive belly rubs. I’d call that begging.
I’ll try to take a video of our orange, per him for 45 seconds and he rolls over for you to get the belly.

My girl loves her belly rubs. Purrs loudly, acts cute for more when you stop. She jumps into my lap and plops herself in a way that I can get her belly and never moves. My husband's cat is indifferent. She's never gotten mad about it and will just walk away if she's not interested or when she's had enough. She doesn't usually ask for belly rubs like mine does, but occasionally she does.
It entirely depends on the cat, and generally speaking, the earlier you teach a kitten that human contact is a good thing the more likely they will be receptive of it. Cats are most impressionable the first 10-12 weeks of their life, after that its really hard to convince them to change. We have two cats that were raised in a great foster home that we adopted at around 12 weeks and they will literally let you do anything; I think its like 50% genes and 50% how they were raised
