Will the Split tunneling get fixed on the macOS app anytime soon? I just realized for a day or so I had been exposing my real IP, not that I was doing anything crazy, but still shocking. I wanted to exclude some of the apps from the VPN connection so I had turned on the Split tunneling option, but I didn't know it was broken. Here's how it looks on the app.
Based on that image, you'd think the apps you want to exclude from the VPN connection should be added to the exclusion list by clicking the '+' button next to the apps, but here's the thing - nothing happens when you click the '+' button. You won't know if it's being excluded or included. So in my case, I apparently all my apps were in the 'Exclude from VPN' category. I read a few posts here that talked about this but there was no real solution to this. This seems to be a serious flaw. Anyone reached out to the mullvad team about this?
My setup:
Little snitch - Encrypted with NextDNS
Mullvad VPN - obfuscation, Multihop, DAITA, Quantum resistant, Wireguard protocol, Lockdown mode on.
