Self hosting (on Jellyfin, etc.) the content you want is probably the best way to watch stuff on mobile, but not sure it fits your use case.

I didn't face any issues with stremio on my android. It's not perfect but I had the same experience with the Windows and Android tv app.
Currently using recloudstream. So far no issues while watching
I personally use Streamio + Trakt. I just manually track stuff on the Trakt app, before I watch something on Streamio.
