Congratulations on getting started! I'm around your age and been on HRT 6 months. No regrets despite the... gestures vaguely at everything.

HRT via DIY means
If you don't have a medical background already, make sure you REALLY understand different injection routes (intramuscular vs subcutaneous) and skin prep. Site selection, needle length, shit like that - different tissue absorbs drugs in different ways. Also skipping or fucking up the prep can land you with a nasty infection.
If you have any nurse friends, they'd be able to walk you through it.
Also happy to answer any questions about that side of things - I don't know much about hrt, but can give insight on the med administration side of things.
Good luck!
Thanks! Yes while I'm waiting for my shipment, I'm going to spend time figuring that all out. I'll reach out to you if I hit a wall in my understanding.
https://www.plannedparenthood.org/planned-parenthood-greater-texas/self-injection-videos here you go! This is what my doctor had me use and I haven't had a single issue.
We typically adjust our dosage based on regular blood tests so the most important thing is just picking which method is most comfortable for us and doing it safely!
Congratulations! I"m happy to hear that you've decided to help yourself out. There's a wonderful journey ahead of you! I'm only a few months ahead of you on that journey, so please feel free to reach out if there's anything you want to discuss. Welcome to the rest of your new life, sister!
Yay! I hope HRT works for you and gives you the results you're looking for. It should make you feel much better, at least <3
