With Xfinity, Netgear CM 500 modem and Meshforce M3s mesh aystem. Speed is fine for me and nearly no drops for the last 4 years. I was very happy with it. My mesh system might got hacked since I cannot access the app/system for more than one minute. I might switch to a router - are they really safer? (If so, I would sacrifice my Wi-Fi via mesh in the yard/garden) Can I keep my CM 500 modem or should I replace it too? ( I don't want a modem/router combo).
