Hello everyone — I have moderate experience with networking, and I think I just need to buy a router, but let me know if this will work.

So basically I have a Comcast xb7 router being used as the main home modem, and I have ANOTHER Comcast xb7 that I’m trying to use pretty much only as an access point. It won’t let me put it into bridge mode, and regardless, I’d like to use it for more than 1 port anyways. Everything is actually mostly functioning, it’s just double NAT and extremely slow loading and weird disconnects.

Reason for the wonkiness is that I have a single Ethernet connection down to my living area, where I have 3 things that need connection, and I had a leftover xb7 that I’ve been meaning to take back to Comcast. Can I use the xb7 as an access point only, or is it stuck with double nat? What do I need to buy that basically exists purely as a Ethernet hub / access point?
