After seeing Oppenheimer, I wanted to see more biopics of important figures from WWII. In the past I've already seen Schindler's list, The imitation game, The King's speech, Patton and Darkest Hour. I plan to see Downfall as well.

I'm looking for recommendations on other movies with a western focus (so not like Gandhi) on important figures (so not like The Pianist) and based on real events (so not like Ip man).
