Some of the women likened Cuomo’s well-known bullying and taste for revenge to that of the current president. Karen Hinton, who accused Cuomo in 2021 of making unwanted sexual advances toward her in 2000, described the former governor as “the Democratic Party’s own Donald Trump.”
“I think Cuomo, in another timeline, is probably super jealous of Trump,” Liss said. “They use the same playbook.”
They're literally just quoting some of the women who have been sexually harassed by Cuomo.
But what was the point of them choosing those statements as the headline? They have serious intent here.
Look if you disagree that's fine but I personally am sick of the Democratic party hosting these kind of scumbags in its ranks and then pretending they're not exactly like Trump.
I'm glad it's the headline.
When will democrats like Gillibrand understand that this kind of shit makes them look like they don't stand for anything. She says we are a country of second chances but for wealthy men like Cuomo its an endless string of "second chances" which kind of undermines the word "second" since its more like his fiftieth chance. She ran Al Franken out of the Senate for less.
But I guess I shouldn't expect much else from someone who has a history of sucking up to the NRA and is a crypto shill.
Plus, Gillibrand was one of the key people in the party who ran Al Franken out of DC. I would take Franken over Cuomo in a heartbeat.
I would take Franken over 99% of Democratic politicians at this point. I wonder what's he up to lately anyway?
