Hopefully it is saved and not just another brand consumed by big business so they can make a movie about Big Bird and brutal massacres with sharp bladed instruments (for the kids).
It's an even better deal than with HBO. New episodes air the same day on PBS.
You've gotten it backwards. "Big businesses" aren't making horror movies of childhood entertainment. Those are only happening cause they became public domain.
Is "The Banana Splits" public domain? It seems too early for that, but I'm no copyright lawyer.
I promise Netflix cancels this after the 2nd season.
