One of my goals is to be thought of favourably by my local crows.

There's a murder that like to hang in a big tree in my backyard, I try to hold up things to them like bread and even leave it on the patio table, but they never take it :(

We have a bunch of magpies around here. They absolutely love mealworms. I would leave a dog food bowl of them out and they disappear within an hour or two. I couldn't keep up.

Lol I never thought about anything else other than like seeds and bread, I might have to try that. That's typically sold at pet stores for like pet reptiles right?

Yeah, you should be able to find them there. I don't know about all birds, but bread is usually not great. Not a lot of nutritional value while at the same time filling them up. Mealworms were the easiest to find and provided them with more of what they needed.

Have you tried peanuts in the shell? I've heard that they love those, though I've found that my local squirrels love them more :)

I've heard about shelled peanuts, but keep forgetting to pick some up, maybe I'll just raid my local Five Guys lolol

try nuts… they really trip out over candied nuts….

and they’re jumpy, an overhand throw makes them run away
