A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a conservative forum. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

That sounds exactly like conservative. They're basically synonyms now. Anyone who votes conservative this day and age is either dumb or evil.

Can someone explain what the deal with fluoride is to a non american?

Short version is conservatives in America hate being told what to do and love telling others what to do. The government putting fluoride in the water is them being told by the government what to do.

people have been propagandized that flouride is toxic, so many people have switched to flouride free toothpaste, just look at amazon reviews, some have reported they got cavaties again, no wonder.

they bought into the study that children who had consumed alot of flouride, developed flourosis on thier teeth.

while studies have shown that flouride-hydroxapatite, its when the flouride ion binds to your teeth makes more resistant to acidic attacks. theres a new kind of toothpaste in various brands usually nano-hydroxapatite, but the effects and study arnt concrete yet.
