Honestly I didn't know that the UK and Canada were first-past-the-post for the lower houses lol
We're quite jealous of your voting system here in upside-down Australia. We just had another "vote strategic" moment that resulted in all of the minor parties losing influence just to keep the conservatives out of power. Trudeau's biggest lasting failure will be his inability to actually pass vote reform like he promised, and FPTP will eventually result in us graduating from US-light to full on US-two-party-ism.
The Juice Media are forever questionable to me for recommending the teals as a blanket "not shit candidates", despite some of them, not unsurprisingly, being against workers rights.
