Is that a savory bread pudding?? I’ve only eaten sweet ones, but I spy green things that I can only guess are pickles??

Green must be the lighting. It's a dessert bread pudding and about as rich as I can handle it.

It's not you, I see it too.

But... What is this? I've never heard about bread pudding and on the photo it doesn't look very appealing to be honest.

I'd love to try though. Would you mind sharing your recipe @OP?

Is it the sauce that looks green?

The sauce in the spoon looks like a pickled cucumber, including the cucumber peel.

Interesting, I can see why it looks green. Weird. It's a simple syrup made with brandy I think. I'm just guessing.
