I basically force the sneeze through my front teeth and it kinda works most of the time. Taught myself how when I noticed a girl I sat next to in school sneezed almost silently and I thought it was super cute. Now, coughing and throat-clearing on the other hand... My lovely, beautiful wife usual scares the shit out of me when she sneezes. I have never heard any man go as loud, ever. Some people just have amazing lung capacity and vocal chords!

My mother sneezes when she's full. So when there's an occasion where people tend to overeat, everyone in the house knows when she reached capacity. It's like barking.

coughing on the other hand, is harder - I always want to open my chest and lungs and cough deeply, which uh, sounds not feminine
