I think putting something like (Dunky) in the title would probably have helped
It's also just not funny. I get that it's trying to be, but in my opinion, it doesn't land.

With current international politics it's hard to know the difference
From what I understand of the Lemmy userbase, this type of humor generally just does not play here as much as it would at somewhere like Reddit.
The people who enjoyed the joke just upvote and move on. But yes, we do have a lot of folks who do not embrace obliquity.

What if you don't know who Dunky is and you didn't find the video funny (seems pretty low effort).
I loved the video. It's very obviously taking the piss but I think this has been a sore spot to many Lemmy users that the humour isn't gonna hit.
