I've been preaching this for YEARS now, and I'm really happy to see how this idea is gaining more traction. Your phone is a ludicrously powerful computer. DO MORE WITH YOUR PHONE!

Like here, it's supremely silly to shoot a bunch of video clips at an event, and then WAIT to edit those clips on a laptop or desktop later. Just drop them into an editing app on your phone, and get that stuff done!

Tell me you've never attempted precision video editing on a touchscreen without telling me you've never attempted precision video editing on a touchscreen

You're off your rocker. Aside from the user experience and inability to even see the video at full size, phones are a toxic platform that enthusiasts and FOSS have been largely locked out of to the benefit of a small number of incumbent vendors. Fuck everything about this idea.

Ugh, I can't stand that crease in the screen. Literally all I can see.

Also; do LESS with your phone and get outside more instead.

Sure! For a family vacation video that's probably enough but I dare you to professionally edit a show on your 6 inches touchscreen in as much time as on a computer. I would go as far as saying that doing anything on a phone is slower than on a real computer... Except maybe spending money. DO LESS WITH YOUR PHONE!
