It's weird isn't it?

Maybe he knows he would fail the background checks. And what happens if the elected prime minister fails the background checks and doesn't qualify for security clearance? I hope we don't find out.

Say’s he "won’t"… I’d bet the real reason is that he can’t

Its not just India pulling his strings

He's so wound up that his oligarch handlers have a hard time operating his mouth with their arm stuck up his behind.

I don't know anything about this context, can you explain to me? thank you. I mean his support from Indian parties has been a question for a while?

Is that why all the comments on PP posts are so disparaging?

It's one of the reasons. He's a career politician with 20+ years of service who has accomplished absolutely nothing of note. No legislation. No action. And he can't answer a question without blaming Trudeau somehow. Add to that he has some pretty abhorrent connections that he refuses to dismiss (since they're his voter base- see the 2020 truckers convoy) and he is someone I'd rather not see leading Canada.

got it, thank you for all the concise points.

He has deep connections to US billionaires, and such connections also imply a certain level of friendliness with the Russians, et al.

Most Canadian media is owned by US companies... So one of his big platforms is abolishing the CBC, a neutral state owned media.

The leaders of all major parties got a clearance to see a report of foreign influence in Parliament -- except PP. Which means he's either named directly in the report, and/or that the investigation would flag his blatant and insane connections to foreigners. Like, shit, even Jagmeet Singh was able to do the clearance and get a report.

I bet he will be reducing the price of American eggs, too.
