Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

If Valrak's Combat Patrol leak is correct (LoV, Tallyman, 3 DSTs, 7 PMs and a Rhino) then Grandfather is indeed truly generous.

That is a really fine Box. Every Unit in there is a fine Edition to almost every army list (at least at the moment) and the Character isn't unique. You really could buy this Box 3 times for your army and do nothing wrong.

I think there will be definitely people buying 2. 3 might depend on if the BLTs get a polish in the codex. Although 15 might still be a lot.

That fat cannon and the Terminators look great. GW really manages to create awesome miniatures, the differences to stuff ten years ago is really noticeable. The prices as well unfortunately

Shit was expensive back when I was in the hobby 15 years ago. I can’t imagine how much it costs now. No wonder some people print their own models now

Prices have been more than doubled for some models. While you could argue with inflation, risen costs for materials and personnel etc, the prices have been raised more than inflation, and the most extreme example are some LotR-minis. The same moulds as almost twenty years ago when I came into the hobby. The same models, no changes, double the price.

Yeah I think it's roughly twice the price back then for the same models, with newer models even more as they are more complex.

I think most people are buying bundle boxes like this one nowadays as their prices are comparedly good

The prices as well unfortunately

Unfortunately so, but that is where these boxes shine as you can get up to a third off the usual price with all the units in this box being really solid.
